From Matilda's Mouth

When asking Brett to burn a DVD: "Daddy, can you fire that DVD
for me please?"

Matilda's current favorite song is One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful." We have been playing it nonstop. I started singing it on our walk tonight and she says, "it's okay mommy, I'll handle that song."

Instructing me and Brett:

"okay, hold hands and look at his eyes mommy. okay, now kiss. not like that! tilt your heads and kiss. I'm pretending it's like your wedding."

After we successfully follow all her instructions, she gives us two thumbs up and says "touchdown."
